FCVBA to defend 70-and-above title in ASEAN Seniors Basketball Tournament

The Filipino-Chinese Veterans Basketball Association (FCVBA) is set to defend its 70-and-above division title in the 34th ASEAN Seniors Basketball Tournament in Tangerang, Indonesia.

The team's campaign is led and funded by Rain or Shine co-owner Terry Que and Ironcon Builders' Jimi Lim, who vowed to extend their reign.

Notable additions boosting the squad's strength include former top player Danny Ching and ex-University of the East star Julio Cruz.

Other team members include Andrew Ongteco, James Chua, Alfonso Kaw, Edward Tio, Roberto Poblete, and Secinando Santos.

After finishing runner-up two years ago, FCVBA bounced back and won the title last year undefeated, including a 62-40 victory over Thailand's Hatyai in the finals.

FCVBA will only compete in the 70-and-above age category, as they have in past years.
