Farm Fresh claims first PVL win after beating Galeries Tower in 5 sets

Farm Fresh secured their first win in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference by defeating Galeries Tower in a five-set match (25-22, 35-37, 23-25, 25-20, 15-10) at the Philsports Arena.

Colombian import Yeny Murillo led the scoring with 29 points, including crucial plays in the fifth set, to spearhead the Foxies' comeback after being down 1-2 in sets.

Murillo highlighted the importance of the win for the team's motivation and continued effort, stating, "My team needs this (win) motivation to keep pushing and keep pushing harder."

Trisha Tubu and Caitlin Viray contributed 18 points each, while Aprylle Tagsip added 15 points for Farm Fresh.

Skipper Louie Romero recorded 27 excellent sets and libero Janel Delerio made 25 excellent digs and 12 receptions.

Galeries Tower's Thai import Chuewulim Sutadta led her team with 19 points, but the team has now lost three consecutive matches.

This victory marks the first for head coach Shota Sato with the Foxies, improving their record to 1-2 in Pool A.
