Fajardo wins record 12th PBA BPC award

June Mar Fajardo earned his record-extending 12th PBA Best Player of the Conference award for the 2025 PBA Philippine Cup, securing it with 1,085 points from statistics, media votes, and players' votes.

He bested contenders CJ Perez, Robert Bolick, Zav Lucero, and Jason Perkins for the award.

This is Fajardo's second Best Player of the Conference award this season, following his Governors' Cup win.

Despite the individual recognition, Fajardo remains focused on winning the championship with the San Miguel Beermen, who lead the Finals series 3-1 against TNT.

Fajardo emphasized the team's determination to close out the series on Wednesday, stating, "Yun na yun. Sana makuha namin sa Wednesday. Pero alam namin natin kung gano kagaling TNT, magba-bounce back yun, try nilang ipanalo yung game, pero kami, try nila namin i-closeout."

He stressed the importance of finishing the series to avoid giving TNT momentum and to allow the team to rest.
