Ex-ES Medialdea discharged from Hague hospital after heart procedure

Former executive secretary Salvador Medialdea has been discharged from a hospital in The Hague, Netherlands, after a successful heart procedure.

Senator Bong Go announced Medialdea's release on Facebook, stating he was brought to the hospital on a stretcher from The Hague penitentiary where former President Rodrigo Duterte is held.

Medialdea must remain in The Hague for six more weeks before being cleared for travel back to the Philippines.

Go expressed gratitude for the public's prayers for Medialdea and called for continued prayers for Duterte, who faces International Criminal Court charges.
