Ex-aides deny ferrying cash for Ako Bicol Rep. Co

Two former personal assistants of Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Elizaldy Co, Allan Colesio and Mark Bunagan, have denied allegations by ex-aide Orly Guteza.

Guteza testified before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee claiming Colesio and Bunagan ferried suitcases filled with cash, referred to as 'basura', to Co's and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez's residences.

Guteza stated that at least three deliveries were made, with each suitcase containing approximately P48 million, allegedly from flood control projects.

Colesio and Bunagan submitted separate affidavits refuting Guteza's claims, stating they never saw, heard, or participated in any alleged transport of suitcases of money.

Bunagan stated that Guteza's claim of him being a security consultant for Co in December 2024 was false, as they only worked together as personal assistants for other family members from February 1, 2025, until August 2025.

They specifically denied delivering cash to the 56th Floor of Horizon Residences in Taguig City and 42 McKinley St., Taguig City.
