Palace: Law to take course in Quiboloy arrest

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin stated that the law must take its course regarding the operation to arrest Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Apollo Quiboloy.

Bersamin emphasized that Quiboloy is answerable to the law and that a proper process is in place.

He dismissed claims that the hunt for Quiboloy was politically motivated, stating it is untrue.

Bersamin also refused to comment on Vice President Sara Duterte's past statements encouraging votes for President Marcos Jr. from KOJC members.

Around 3,000 policemen have been deployed to the KOJC compound in Davao City to implement the arrest warrant.

Quiboloy is wanted for alleged violations of the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act and the Qualified Human Trafficking Act.
