Erika Santos of Cignal HD Spikers has been named the first-ever Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the PVL on Tour.
Santos, an opposite spiker who transferred from PLDT last April, was the joint top scorer in the preliminary round with 87 points, tying Petro Gazz's Myla Pablo for the lead.
She also led the tournament in spiking efficiency with a 37.50 percent success rate.
This MVP award is Santos' first major individual award in the professional ranks.
Creamline's Alyssa Valdez and Petro Gazz's Myla Pablo were named Best Outside Spikers.
Pablo also ranked sixth in spiking with a 33.19 percent success rate and fourth in blocking with 0.56 per set.
