Embassy of Spain celebrates Spanish National Day with month-long cultural events

The Embassy of Spain in Manila is celebrating Spanish National Day throughout October with a series of public cultural events.

The month-long festivities include exhibitions on art, design, history, and engineering, as well as film screenings.

Key exhibitions include "Mezcla: Interwoven Cultures and the Mantón de Manila" at the Ayala Museum, running from October 10, 2025, to February 22, 2026.

Other exhibits are "Four Centuries of Spanish Engineering Overseas" at the Centro de Turismo in Intramuros and "A Synergy of Ventures: The Post War Art Scene" at the Ateneo Art Gallery, which runs until February 2026.

Spanish National Design Awardee Héctor Serrano, the 2024 awardee, will give talks at DLSU-St. Benilde, UP Diliman, and the University of Santo Tomas.

He will also speak at Manila FAME on October 17 and the closing of Manila Design Week on October 18.
