Tito Sotto thanks Ely Buendia for denying 'Spoliarium' rumors

Tito Sotto expressed gratitude towards Ely Buendia for clarifying that the Eraserheads' hit song "Spoliarium" is not about the alleged death of actress Pepsi Paloma or about TVJ (Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon).

Buendia stated that he is a huge fan of TVJ and would never consider writing a song to tarnish his heroes, emphasizing that the song is not about them and is not about Pepsi Paloma.

Rumors linking the song to Paloma's death and the "Eat Bulaga" hosts resurfaced following the release of Darryl Yap's trailer for "The Rapist of Pepsi Paloma."

Buendia reiterated his statement at the press conference for Eraserheads' docufilm "Combo on the Run," calling the rumors "ridiculous and mean" and expressing heartbreak over the allegations.

Sotto reciprocated the sentiment, stating that he loves and supports Buendia's music and considers the Eraserheads members as heroes of the entertainment and music industry.
