10 suspects identified in US content creator's abduction

Authorities have identified a total of ten suspects in the abduction of American content creator Elliot Eastman in Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte.

Eastman was abducted from his home on October 17 by armed men, sustaining a leg injury when he resisted.

Five of the ten identified suspects are now in police custody, while the remaining five are still at large and being pursued.

Police confirmed that the suspects, who are residents of Region 9, directly participated in Eastman's kidnapping.

One suspect has a pending murder case, and others have outstanding arrest warrants.

The suspects are not linked to any local armed or terrorist groups, and their motives remain unclear as no ransom demand has been made.

Authorities are following intelligence leads and hope Eastman is still alive, but have not confirmed any proof of life.

Eastman had been residing in Zamboanga del Norte for nearly five months after marrying a local resident.
