Dwight Ramos inks contract extension with Levanga Hokkaido

Dwight Ramos has signed a contract extension with his Japanese B.League team, Levanga Hokkaido, for the 2025-26 season, prioritizing the team over other offers.

Ramos stated that he is on the same page with Levanga Hokkaido and hopes they can achieve significant accomplishments next season.

He had a career-best season in 2024-25, averaging 11.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists across 53 games, his most in four seasons in Japan.

Despite Ramos's performance, Levanga Hokkaido finished the 2024-25 season with a 21-39 record and missed the playoffs.

Ramos expressed excitement for the upcoming season, mentioning the addition of a new, foreign coach.

His return marks his fourth season with the team, continuing the presence of Filipino players in the Japanese league alongside Kai Sotto and Kiefer Ravena.
