Duterte's 80th birthday extended to 72 hours

Former President Rodrigo Duterte's 80th birthday celebration has been extended to 72 hours, concluding on March 30, with events held nationwide and globally.

Benito Ranque, co-convenor of the Return Duterte Movement, stated the extended celebration could potentially break a Guinness World Record, surpassing a German man's 46-hour celebration.

The celebrations span multiple countries and time zones, including events in Tampa, Florida, and Twin Lake, Michigan.

Supporters are organizing prayer rallies and candlelight events nationwide and in major cities across the United States, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom.

These events are also aimed at seeking divine intervention for Duterte's release from the International Criminal Court (ICC) detention facility.

Ranque contrasted Duterte's prolonged birthday celebration with his current situation, facing trial for alleged crimes against humanity.
