Duterte to undergo COVID-19 swab test on Sunday —Nograles
President Rodrigo Duterte and attendees of his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 27 will undergo reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests.
All individuals entering the Batasang Pambansa complex will be subjected to PCR testing on Sunday night, the eve of the SONA.
Those on the grounds of Batasang Pambansa will also be administered rapid tests.
Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 will not be permitted to attend the SONA in person.
A total of 15 Cabinet Secretaries and 50 legislators will attend the SONA.
It remains uncertain if Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea will attend the SONA after eight Presidential Security Group (PSG) personnel assigned to him tested positive for COVID-19.
