Duterte says he's fulfilled and ready to step down on June 30

President Rodrigo Duterte expressed his readiness to step down on June 30, stating he feels fulfilled and believes he has accomplished everything he promised the people.

He shared his sentiments during the inauguration of new facilities at the Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City.

Duterte, who is turning 77 on March 28, feels fulfilled in his roles as a father and a government worker.

He mentioned that his life experiences have led him to reflect on his current situation.

The President highlighted his administration's efforts in maintaining peace and order, combating illegal drugs, enhancing healthcare, implementing education reforms, and developing infrastructure.

He also noted that his children are now set for life, with his daughter Sara Duterte running for vice president in the 2022 elections.

Duterte concluded by saying he is fulfilled with his accomplishments and has no further requests.
