Duterte flies to Davao City for extended stay

He flew to Davao City early Saturday and is expected to stay longer than his previous three-day visit.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque confirmed that Duterte will continue to perform his duties and deliver his public address from Davao City.

Duterte usually spends weekends in Davao City but had previously refrained from doing so due to the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.

Despite the extended stay, Presidential Security Group commander Jesus Durante III stated that the President was expected back in Malacañang Palace on Monday.
