PDP-Laban members, non-members get Duterte's endorsement for Senate race
President Rodrigo Duterte endorsed eight additional senatorial candidates outside his PDP-Laban party during a rally in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

The total number of senatorial candidates backed by Duterte and his party now stands at 17.
Duterte encouraged voters to choose the candidates they believe are most capable.
He also endorsed local candidates in Cebu, including re-electionist Governor Gwendolyn Garcia and several mayors.
Prior to the rally, Duterte stated he would not endorse any presidential candidate.
