Duterte camp urged to detail past flood control projects

Undersecretary Claire Castro stated that Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte's criticisms regarding alleged flood control anomalies are unhelpful if not accompanied by solutions.

President Marcos is open to considering "sensible" suggestions from the Dutertes to address flooding in the country.

Castro emphasized that President Marcos Jr. is actively addressing the issues concerning flood control projects.

She also stated that the Dutertes must explain the 13,917 flood control projects undertaken during the administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

The Palace official encouraged them to inform the public about the existence, operation, and effectiveness of these past projects.
