DPWH reopens sections of EDSA busway after repairs

Repairs on several sections of the EDSA busway, from Roxas Boulevard in Pasay to Orense in Makati, have been completed and reopened by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

The Department of Transportation has noted improvements in bus speed and passenger journeys since the repairs began.

Further rehabilitation activities will continue nightly from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. to minimize traffic disruption.

The initial phase of the EDSA rehabilitation program is expected to conclude by April or May, with the entire two-phase project anticipated to take eight months to finish.
