DPWH starts Edsa rehabilitation on Dec 24

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) National Capital Region (NCR) will commence rehabilitation works on Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) starting at 11 p.m. on December 24, 2025.

The initial phase, from December 24 to 27, will involve reblocking of damaged sections on both northbound and southbound lanes of Edsa, specifically from Roxas Boulevard to Taft Avenue.

Additionally, reblocking will occur on the southbound lane of Park Avenue up to just before the northbound lane of Aurora Boulevard.

The DPWH plans to block off the three innermost lanes, including the Edsa Carousel busway, during these reblocking operations.

Asphalt overlay works are also scheduled for portions of the southbound lane of Edsa from Orense in Makati to Laurins Street in Pasay, to be conducted lane by lane.

A separate schedule for Edsa rehabilitation from December 28 to January 5, 2026, will be released by the DPWH.

Furthermore, the southbound lane of Edsa from Scout Borromeo to Kamuning will be closed from 1 a.m. on December 27 to 4 a.m. on December 28 for the construction of the Kamuning bus stop and footbridge.
