DPWH starts asphalt overlay on España Blvd

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has begun a week-long asphalt overlay project on España Boulevard in Manila.

The maintenance work, which commenced on February 26, covers a 508-meter stretch on the westbound lanes from Welcome Rotonda to Maceda Street.

To minimize disruption, the DPWH will close only one lane at a time, reopening completed sections immediately.

The project is scheduled to conclude by March 5, with daily activities occurring from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic slowdowns, take alternate routes, and exercise caution.

Authorities also reminded drivers to inspect their vehicles before traveling and avoid driving while fatigued to prevent accidents.
