DOTr condemns killing of SAICT enforcer in Cavite

Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon strongly condemned the killing of Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (SAICT) enforcer Hervin T. Cabanban in Cavite.

The DOTr will work closely with the Philippine National Police and the National Bureau of Investigation to ensure the swift resolution of the crime.

The SAICT vowed to remain fearless in service for the welfare of commuters, despite the "senseless killing" of Cabanban.

SAICT enforces traffic and road safety rules, particularly along the EDSA Busway.

Cabanban was shot dead inside his home in Cavite by an unknown assailant early Saturday morning.

Department of Transportation-SAICT Assistant Secretary Jose Lim IV stated that the assailant entered Cabanban's home, shot him while he was defenseless, and then stabbed him.
