Pickup driver caught assaulting elderly bus driver in Cavite suspended
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has suspended the driver's license of Arny Jose Montes for 90 days following a widely shared video showing him assaulting an elderly bus driver during a traffic altercation in Silang, Cavite.

Montes has been summoned to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) headquarters on October 24 to submit a sworn statement regarding the altercation.
Failure to appear will result in a decision based on available evidence, and his driver's license must be surrendered.
Additionally, Montes' Toyota Hilux will be flagged to prevent any transactions during the investigation.
