DOTr offers free rides on MRT-3, LRT-1, LRT-2 from Dec 14-25

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is offering free rides on the MRT-3, LRT-1, and LRT-2 from December 14 to December 25.

This initiative, dubbed the "12 Days of Christmas" by the DOTr, aims to provide commuters with a pleasant holiday travel experience.

From December 14 to December 24, specific sectors will have free rides each day.

These sectors include senior citizens (Dec. 14), students (Dec. 15), OFWs and their families (Dec. 16), teachers and health workers (Dec. 17), PWDs and male passengers (Dec. 18), government employees (Dec. 19), female commuters (Dec. 20), families (Dec. 21), solo parents and the LGBTQIA+ community (Dec. 22), private sector employees and household workers (Dec. 23), and uniformed personnel, veterans and their families (Dec. 24).

On Christmas Day, December 25, all commuters can enjoy free rides on these public transportation lines throughout their operating hours.
