DOT constructing P10-M tourist rest area in Iloilo
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco led the groundbreaking ceremony for a P10-million tourist rest area (TRA) in Tubungan, Iloilo, on August 23.

Funded by the Department of Tourism (DOT) through the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), the project is a collaboration with the local government unit of Tubungan.
Mayor Roquito G. Tacsagon highlighted that the TRA enhances Tubungan's potential as an emerging tourist destination.
