DOLE continues labor inspections until Dec 31 to ensure compliance

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will continue labor inspections until December 31, 2025, to ensure compliance with labor standards during the holiday season.

These inspections prioritize workplaces with formal worker complaints, occupational safety and health investigations following disruptive events, and critical technical safety checks.

High-risk establishments and sectors experiencing seasonal demand spikes, such as manufacturing, construction, pyrotechnics, and public transportation, will also be closely monitored.

Technical and advisory visits to micro establishments will continue, alongside follow-up monitoring and enforcement from previous inspections.

Labor Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma stated that these checks are essential to guarantee worker safety and legal compliance amid increased economic activity.
