DFA denies Harry Roque has multiple active passports
The Department of Justice (DOJ) initiated the cancellation of former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque's passports over qualified human trafficking charges.
Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla claimed Roque holds at least two to three Philippine passports under the same name, which is against the law.
The DFA, however, clarified that Roque only has one active passport, with his latest issued in 2024 and valid until July 2034.

Remulla labeled Roque a "fugitive" for leaving the country while an arrest warrant was active, and the DOJ is investigating how Roque obtained multiple passports.
Roque is facing qualified and regular human trafficking cases in connection with his alleged involvement with an illegal POGO.
