DLSU, Benilde suspend classes due to widespread illness

De La Salle University (DLSU) has suspended all work and classes from January 10 to 15, 2022, due to a high prevalence of illness within its community, with nearly 60% of its members currently sick.

The suspension covers all levels at DLSU, including nursery to Grade 12, undergraduate, graduate school, and the College of Law, and also includes work on all campuses.

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) has also suspended classes and all academic activities from January 10 to 15.

DLSU will conduct another health survey on January 13 to inform its decision on class resumption and any adjustments to the academic calendar.

Both universities encourage prayers for the recovery of those who are ill and remind their communities to remain vigilant and follow health protocols.
