Dingdong Dantes highlights corruption impact in "Broken Roads, Broken Promises" documentary

GMA Public Affairs is airing a special documentary titled "Broken Roads, Broken Promises: Isang Paglalakbay Kasama si Dingdong Dantes" this Saturday, November 15, at 9:30 p.m. on GMA.

The documentary features actor Dingdong Dantes traveling across the Philippines to highlight the plight of victims affected by corruption in multi-billion peso flood control and infrastructure projects.

As part of its production, Dantes traveled to Northern Samar to speak with residents affected by stalled projects.

Dantes emphasizes the documentary's importance in shedding light on how failed infrastructure projects have hindered local progress and disrupted essential frontline services, particularly in remote areas.

He personally witnessed how misused funds intended for these projects led to devastating floods and damaged homes, schools, and hospitals.

Dantes expressed that being stolen from diminishes a Filipino's dignity and that the documentary aims to uncover broken promises and restore hope and dignity to the people.
