DigiPlus profits up 16% to P10.11B in nine months

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. reported a strong performance in the first nine months of the year, with profits reaching P10.11 billion, a 16% increase.

This profit growth was primarily fueled by the retail games segment, enhanced by new product launches and improved operational efficiencies.

The company's revenues surged by 30% to P66.83 billion during the January to September period.

Despite the overall growth, the third quarter alone saw a significant 59% drop in net income to P1.71 billion due to stricter regulations on online gambling.

Chairman Eusebio Tanco highlighted the company's resilience and continued focus on digital innovation, player protection, and good governance during this period.
