DFA: COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad reach 11,474

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported on Monday that the number of Filipinos abroad infected with COVID-19 has reached 11,474 with 51 new cases.

As of Monday, there are 7,411 Filipinos abroad who have recovered from the virus, while 828 have died.

A total of 3,235 Filipinos currently remain under treatment for COVID-19.

The confirmed cases and recoveries were recorded in the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amid the pandemic.
