Dennis Trillo bags Best Actor at Gawad Urian for 'Green Bones'

Dennis Trillo won Best Actor at the 48th Gawad Urian Awards for his role in "Green Bones."

Marxie Maolen Fadul won Best Production Design for "Green Bones."

"Alipato at Muog" received multiple awards, including Best Film, Best Editing, and Best Director for JL Burgos.

JL Burgos' film revolves around the disappearance of his brother, activist Jonas Burgos.

Arisa Nakano won Best Actress for "Kono Basho," which also won Best Cinematography for Dan Villegas.

"Tumandok" garnered awards for Best Direction, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor for Felipe Ganancial, and Best Music.

Trillo expressed his joy on Instagram, stating, "Mas masarap talaga sa pakiramdam, lalo na't pinaghirapan at nakuha sa pataas na paraan!"

This marks Trillo's first Gawad Urian win for Best Actor after several past nominations.
