Deanna Wong wins Fan Favorite award at PVL Press Corps Awards Night

Choco Mucho setter Deanna Wong was named the Fan Favorite at the first-ever Pilipinas Live PVL Press Corps Awards Night on May 28.

She won the award through an online poll on the PVL Press Corps' Facebook page, garnering 24,000 reactions.

Wong emerged victorious, surpassing Creamline players Jema Galanza (12,000 reactions), Alyssa Valdez (10,000 reactions), and Bea De Leon (6,400 reactions).

Her win was bolstered by her significant social media following, including 866,000 Facebook followers, 1.4 million on Instagram, and 2.4 million on TikTok.

Fans also selected the PVL All-Filipino Conference quarterfinals Game 2 match between PLDT and Choco Mucho as the Game of the Year.

Choco Mucho won that thrilling match in five sets, 25-15, 12-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-13, to advance to the semifinals.

Chery Tiggo will also be recognized with the Fair Play Award for earning the most green cards, which are used to admit fault and avoid delays.
