Davao Oriental siblings arrested for online child exploitation; 7 minors rescued

Two teenage siblings were arrested in Davao Oriental for allegedly engaging in online child exploitation, victimizing minors aged nine to 14.

Authorities rescued seven minors, one 18-year-old, and three children aged one to four years old during the operation at the suspects' residence.

The suspects were reportedly directing victims to perform sexual acts while recording and livestreaming the encounters.

The operation was initiated following a referral from Australian authorities, leading to a broader investigation.

Investigators revealed that the suspects earned between P100 to P1,000 per transaction, with a total amount of P385,000 received since they began their illegal activities.

The siblings had reportedly been deceiving their parents by claiming their income was from online gaming.

Another suspect was arrested during the operation.
