Darren Espanto, Julie Anne San Jose to release new PBB theme song

Singers Darren Espanto and Julie Anne San Jose are set to release a new version of the "Pinoy Big Brother" theme song, "Sikat Ang Pinoy."

The collaboration was announced during the media conference for "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collab," a partnership between GMA Network and ABS-CBN.

Both artists expressed their honor and excitement in being part of this project, considering it a dream come true for artists from GMA and ABS-CBN to collaborate.

Espanto described their rendition as having a more modern sound, aiming to resonate with the new generation.

The new version of the theme song will be released on March 9, coinciding with the premiere of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collab" on GMA Network.

This marks the first time in its two decades that "PBB" will air on the Kapuso network.

The upcoming season of "Pinoy Big Brother" will feature original hosts Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, and Alexa Ilacad, along with new additions Gabbi Garcia and Mavy Legaspi.
