Dalipe questions VP Duterte's loyalty over silence on SONA

House Majority Leader Mannix Dalipe questioned Vice President Sara Duterte's loyalty to the country due to her silence following President Marcos Jr.'s State of the Nation Address (SONA).

Dalipe expressed concern over the Vice President's lack of response to the President's pronouncements on the West Philippine Sea (WPS) and the shutdown of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).

He stated that her silence undermines the collective efforts of the government and casts doubt on her commitment to the nation's best interests.

The President's SONA reiterated the administration's commitment to defending the country's sovereignty in the WPS and confirmed the decision to cease POGO operations.

Dalipe emphasized the importance of national unity in supporting the President's stance on critical issues like the WPS and POGO controversies.

Vice President Duterte was absent from the SONA and reportedly departed for Germany with her family shortly after the event.
