CSB's Allen Liwag is NCAA Season 100 MVP and DPOY

College of Saint Benilde's Allen Liwag was named the Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year for NCAA Season 100.

He averaged a double-double with 14.6 points and 11.3 rebounds, along with 2.3 assists and 1.2 blocks per game, garnering 52.38 Player Average Value (PAV) points.

Liwag was also part of the centennial season's Mythical Five, including Clint Escamis, John Barba, Tony Ynot, and Tristan Felebrico.

He joined an elite group of six players to win both MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards in the same NCAA season.

Despite his individual accolades, Liwag and the CSB Blazers lost the NCAA Season 100 championship after being swept by Mapua University in the finals.

Liwag expressed his disappointment, stating that individual awards do not matter as much as winning a championship.
