CSB wins fourth straight, beats Arellano

College of St. Benilde (CSB) extended its winning streak to four games after defeating Arellano University, 74-56.

The Blazers now hold an 8-4 record, placing them one game behind league leaders Mapua and Lyceum who both have 9-3 slates.

Will Gozum led CSB with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Migs Oczon and Miguel Corteza contributed 11 points each.

Mark Sangco also had a notable performance with 8 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks.

Arellano's Lorenz Capulong scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, but their key player Jade Talampas was limited to 2 points.

The loss drops Arellano to a 2-10 record, putting them on the brink of elimination.

In another game, University of Perpetual Help defeated Jose Rizal University (JRU) 72-61.

Arthur Roque led Perpetual with 17 points, including four three-pointers, and Christian Pagaran added 15 points.
