CSB dominates FEU in V-League finals Game 1

College of Saint Benilde (CSB) holds a commanding lead in the V-League Women's Collegiate Challenge finals after a dominant Game 1 victory over Far Eastern University (FEU).

The Lady Blazers swept the Lady Tamaraws in straight sets, 25-18, 25-18, 25-16, at the Paco Arena in Manila.

CSB's defense was highly effective, preventing any FEU player from reaching double-digit scoring.

Jade Gentapa led CSB with 13 points, while Gayle Pascual contributed 12 points and was named player of the game.

Pascual emphasized the team's mindset, stating, "That win is nothing until the V-League is done, there are still no winners. We continue with a zero mentality until we haven't clinched Game 2."

CSB assistant coach Jay Chua highlighted the team's focus on improving their blocking for the upcoming games.

The Lady Blazers aim to secure the championship title in Game 2 on Friday, but remain prepared for a potential Game 3.
