Criss Cross, Cignal clash in Spikers Turf Finals opener

Criss Cross and Cignal are set to face off in Game One of the best-of-three Spikers' Turf Open Conference Finals on Wednesday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

The King Crunchers, who swept the eliminations and semifinals, will challenge the defending champion HD Spikers.

Despite Criss Cross's strong performance this conference, Cignal has beaten them in their last two championship encounters.

Criss Cross setter Ish Polvorosa acknowledged the pressure but sees his team as underdogs, viewing this as their best opportunity to dethrone Cignal.

Polvorosa, who has been named Player of the Week twice, will be supported by reigning MVP Jude Garcia, Jaron Requinton, Nico Almendras, and Marck Espejo.

Cignal head coach Dexter Clamor emphasized the importance of championship experience and composure for his defending champion team.

Clamor stated that Cignal is focused on the finals and winning when it matters most, rather than dwelling on previous losses.
