King Crunchers clinch semifinals berth

Criss Cross King Crunchers secured a semifinals berth in the Spikers' Turf after decisively defeating Chichi DHTSI.

This victory marks the King Crunchers' fifth consecutive win and seventh overall, tying them with Cignal HD Spikers at the top of the standings.

Despite fielding their second stringers for extended periods, the King Crunchers dominated the match, concluding it in just 53 minutes.

Gian Glorioso was the top scorer with 15 points from attacks, kill blocks, and aces, supported by Francis Saura and Chu Njigha who added 12 and 11 points respectively.

Rookie setter Adrian Villados also performed well, delivering 12 excellent sets after substituting for Ish Polvorosa.

The King Crunchers showcased superior performance with 47 attacks, 14 blocks, and four aces, while Chichi DHTSI struggled with only 18 attacks and no blocks or aces.

Gian Glorioso expressed happiness with the team's performance, emphasizing their commitment to giving 100 percent regardless of the opponent.
