Creamline Cool Smashers eye chemistry in PVL on Tour amid short prep

The Creamline Cool Smashers are participating in the PVL On Tour in Vigan City to rebuild team chemistry and integrate new players despite a short preparation time.

Head coach Sherwin Meneses mentioned that the team had less than a month to train for the tour, which begins this Sunday.

Creamline's initial games are against Capital1 on Sunday and Akari on Monday at the Chavit Coliseum in Vigan.

The PVL on Tour will also feature stops in Batangas, Metro Manila, Isabela, and Iloilo.

The team is motivated by a desire for redemption after their loss to Petro Gazz in the recent PVL All-Filipino Conference finals.

Newly drafted middle blockers Sheena Toring and Nica Celis are expected to contribute, especially with some veterans recovering from injuries.

Captain Jia de Guzman is back from her stint in Japan but Kyle Negrito will continue to be the main setter while Rhea Dimaculangan is on leave.
