Creamline named PVL Press Corps Team of the Year

Creamline has been awarded the Team of the Year honor at the first-ever Pilipinas Live Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Press Corps Awards Night on May 28.

The 10-time PVL champion secured the award by garnering 13.6 points, with 10.8 points from media votes and 2.8 from team votes.

Petro Gazz finished as the runner-up for Team of the Year with 9.4 points, a combination of 3.0 media votes and 6.4 team votes.

Creamline achieved a historic grand slam by sweeping all three conferences of the 2024 season.

Despite a grand slam bid clouded by injuries to key players like Alyssa Valdez and Tots Carlos, and Jema Galanza being unavailable for most of the season due to national team duties, Creamline still dominated.

In their absence, American import Erica Staunton took over alongside Bernadeth Pons, Michele Gumabao and Kyle Negrito to complete the championship treble.

Coach Sherwin Meneses of Creamline was also recognized as the Coach of the Year, having led the team to seven titles and recently achieving his 100th win.
