Converge Surf2Sawa prepaid fiber broadband gains 500,000 subscribers

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is expanding its reach in the mass market through its prepaid fiber broadband service, Surf2Sawa (S2S), aiming to address the lack of reliable internet access nationwide.

Converge VP and Surf2Sawa Head Conrado Pascual highlighted that S2S is filling a gap previously dominated by less reliable wireless alternatives, with more customers now embracing the pay-as-you-go fiber option.

Pascual also noted that the growth potential for S2S remains significant due to ongoing efforts to improve brand awareness and accessibility.

The service has seen its strongest demand in Metro Manila and South and Central Luzon, where many households are gaining access to fiber connectivity for the first time.

Surf2Sawa's uptake is also growing in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, bolstered by Converge's expanding network infrastructure.

Launched in late 2022, S2S has already garnered 500,000 active subscribers.

Converge CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony Uy sees this development as a clear indication that prepaid fiber is becoming a mainstream choice for consumers looking for affordable and adaptable internet solutions.
