Converge ICT partners with Starlink for satellite internet

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has partnered with Elon Musk's Starlink to offer satellite internet services in remote areas of the Philippines.

As an authorized reseller, Converge will provide end-to-end solutions including installation, network management, monitoring, and maintenance.

Converge CEO Dennis Anthony Uy stated that they target businesses and government agencies in far-flung areas, including those in agriculture, retail, fisheries, and hospitality.

Uy confirmed that Converge expects to sell $3 million to $4 million worth of Starlink kits as it expands its satellite service offerings.

He sees the partnership with Starlink helping to grow Converge's enterprise segment by 5-10 percent this year.

Converge has also partnered with US tech firm Ribbon Communications to improve internet services nationwide using AI-enabled data transmission technology.
