Concepcion wants booster cards for enclosed spaces by June

Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion is pushing for a requirement of booster cards for entry into enclosed establishments starting in June.

Concepcion believes that the period until June is sufficient for individuals to get their booster shots, given the increased accessibility of vaccines and adequate supply.

He expressed concern about waning immunity and the potential emergence of new variants in the coming months, emphasizing the need for a proactive approach.

Previously, Concepcion had already raised concerns about low booster uptake and suggested redefining 'fully vaccinated' to include booster doses.

He also proposed implementing an expiry date for vaccination cards, which would be superseded by booster cards upon expiration.

Concepcion wants booster cards to become the standard requirement for accessing enclosed establishments and other venues, replacing the current vaccination card requirement.
