COA holds DPWH officials, firms liable for irregular Bulacan flood works

DPWH-Bulacan 1st District engineer Henry Alcantara, assistant district engineer Brice Ericson Hernandez, project engineer Paul Jayson Duya, and construction section chief Jaypee Mendoza, along with businessman Mark Allan Arevalo of Wawao Builders, were among those cited.
For example, one of Wawao Builders' projects in Calumpit delivered only 77.9 meters of river wall against the planned 124 meters, with shoddy workmanship and visible cracks observed.
