Claudine Barretto remembers ex-boyfriend Rico Yan on 22nd death anniversary

Claudine Barretto remembered her former boyfriend and ka-love team Rico Yan on the 22nd anniversary of his death.

She posted an Instagram Reel featuring pictures and clips of them together, including a portion of her interview with Karen Davila where she called Rico her "one great love."

In the caption, Barretto wrote, "March 29 My heart stopped," and added the hashtag #AlwaysAndForever.

Rico Yan, who died of cardiac arrest due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis at age 27 on March 29, 2002, was honored by netizens.

Barretto has frequently posted about Yan on social media, sharing a love letter from him in 2021 and visiting his grave.

She previously admitted on "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" that she developed panic disorder partly due to the stress and grief from Rico's death.
