Class suspensions declared in Western Visayas due to Tropical Storm Tino

Classes are suspended in various areas in Western Visayas on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, due to Tropical Storm Tino.

In Aklan, Malay has suspended classes from November 3 to 5 for all levels in public and private institutions, advising flexible learning modalities.

Kalibo in Aklan will shift to alternative learning modalities for face-to-face classes on November 4.

Several municipalities in Antique, including Libertad, have announced no face-to-face classes for all levels, with some extending the suspension until November 5.

Schools in Antique are advised to implement alternative learning modes such as modular distance learning or online classes where applicable.

Eastern Visayas State University, Visayas State University, and Aklan State University have also suspended classes until November 5.

More areas were placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 4 as Typhoon Tino intensified and approached the Caraga-Eastern Visayas area, with PAGASA expecting it to make landfall at or near peak intensity and remain a typhoon throughout its passage over the Philippines.
