Cignal HD Spikers gain lessons from Japan training camp

The Cignal HD Spikers gained significant experience and valuable lessons from their recent training camp in Japan, where they competed against strong international teams.

The team faced high-caliber squads in Japan's SV.League and V.League, along with powerhouse university teams, exposing them to intense competition.

Head coach Dexter Clamor highlighted the camp as the best they've had, involving tune-up matches with Division 1 and Division 2 teams, and top university squads in Nagoya.

Despite experiencing losses, Cignal viewed the challenges as crucial for their development, learning to overcome adversity which is rare in their usual dominant local play.

Clamor emphasized that the experience of being beaten and overwhelmed in Japan provided numerous lessons that the team will apply in the upcoming Spikers' Turf Open Conference.

The HD Spikers, known for their consistent success, have maintained their core players from the previous season, demonstrating confidence in their existing system and roster.
