Cignal HD Spikers hand Creamline Cool Smashers first PVL loss

Cignal HD Spikers defeated the Creamline Cool Smashers in straight sets, 25-18, 25-22, 28-26, to hand them their first loss in the PVL on Tour.

This victory extends Cignal's winning streak to three games and marks their first win against Creamline since the 2022 PVL Conference Semifinals.

The third set saw a dramatic comeback from Creamline, who saved multiple match points to tie the game at 24-all before Cignal ultimately secured the win.

Ishie Lalongisip was instrumental in closing out the match, scoring crucial points in the final moments, and finished with 15 points.

Erika Santos led Cignal in scoring with 18 points, primarily from attacks, while Gel Cayuna provided 22 excellent sets and contributed five points, earning her Player of the Game.

The match lasted nearly two hours, with the third set being a particularly close and hard-fought battle.
